Brazilians business is ‘thriving’
Brazilian people are spending plenty of money, meaning business is thriving in the country, according to an expert.
Laura Rendell-Dunn, marketing manager at Journey Latin America, says the cost of living in the country is much cheaper than in the UK, attracting Brits looking for property in Brazil.
Ms Rendell-Dunn says the South American nation is appealing to Brits as it offers a warm climate and exotic lifestyle that they would not get in the UK.
"Another reason to move to Brazil is that the economy is doing very well at the moment. So, business is thriving, people are spending lots of money," she states.
This week, Urban Larson, director of emerging equities at asset management company F and C, said the country could turn out to be one of the "winners" in the global financial sector.
He described Brazil’s banking system as "solid and profitable", asserting that financial institutions have learnt from their past mistakes.
