Bric to discuss climate change
Brazil’s foreign minister will meet with his Bric (Brazil, Russia, India and China) country counterparts this week to discuss a number of issues including climate change, it has been reported.
Celso Amorim will attend the meeting where Russia seeks to develop "informal mechanisms" to promote the "collective leadership of the world’s leading states", according to Bloomberg.
The Bric countries have met twice previously but the May 16th meeting in Yekaterinburg will be the first outside of the UN.
