Canadian tourists flock to Brazil
Canadian tourists are flocking to the sunny climes of Brazil, experts have revealed this week.
According to Air Canada the South American nation has been one of the airline’s top sellers, marking it out as an up-and-coming holiday location.
Doug Vogl, director of international development at the company, told Canada.com: "Recent travel trends point to South America as the hottest new tourist destination for Canadians."
He added that due to this increase in demand the firm would be expanding its Brazilian programme for 2008.
This could be good news for owners of rental property in the nation, as the increase in tourism may have a direct impact on the demand for rented accommodation in the holiday season.
Independent property analysts Amberlamb reported earlier this year property prices in the nation are growing at a significant pace, attracting "considerable interest" as a result.
Furthermore, Amberlamb claimed that since areas away from the coast in Brazil remain "largely untapped" they may hold the key to profitable property investment in the coming years.
