Carnival could be the start of a Brazilian property adventure
People visiting Rio de Janeiro for the annual carnival next month will experience a "once in a lifetime experience", which could lead to interest in Brazilian property.
Tom Hall, editor of the Lonely Planet, said that the carnival, which gets underway on February 13th, is the most prevalent in Rio de Janeiro although other destinations will also join in with the party atmosphere.
The travel expert also recommended Salvador’s carnival, which is very vibrant and best suited to younger people.
A recent guide by the New York Times recommended Salvador as one of the top places to visit in 2010, with its stylish Brazilian property located in the Rio Vermelho region.
The source explained that these properties "seamlessly blend modern and classic styles with exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean".
Expert advice on the official Brazil carnival website stated that nearly every corner of the country will hold celebrations, with ones in Recife and Olinda also drawing praise.
