Cheaper to fly to Brazil this spring
Cheaper flights to Brazil will be available this spring thanks to a discount on Latin American travel being offered by a major airline.
American Airlines has put flights to select Central and South American destinations on sale for travel through mid-May.
The airline flies to 25 locations in the region and says that its frequent flights can help holidaymakers and investors alike "realise that…dream of a lifetime" by jetting off to sunny South America.
As part of the promotion passengers can fly from Boston to Sao Paulo for $588 (£294) and from Chicago O’Hare to Rio de Janeiro for $667 (£388).
Discounted flights will begin departing from May 18th and tickets can be purchased no later than February 12th.
American Airlines is the world’s largest airline operating more than 4,000 daily flights between 250 cities in 40 countries using 1,000 aircraft.
The Brazilian institute for tourism announced at the end of last year that tourism in the country is growing at a rate of 7.2 per cent annually.
