Cumbuco is a ‘curious place with authentic character’
Cumbuco’s sandy beaches and unspoilt surrounds mean that it is an ideal and "authentic" location to invest in Brazilian property.
Alison McGowan, writing for Gringoes.com, said that the small fishing village of Cumbuco, which is in the state of Ceara in the north-east of Brazil, offers property which face onto tropical gardens and large swimming pools.
Visiting the Pousada 0031 complex – which has been built and run by a Dutch couple who decided to invest in Brazilian property in 2007 – Ms McGowan said that she felt like she was staying in a home from home, which she "definitely didn’t want to leave".
Ms McGowan added that there are plenty of beach-based activities for Brazilian property owners to do in Cumbuco, which is one of the most popular destinations in the world for kite surfing.
Cumbuco is also only a short drive from Fortaleza International Airport, which offers several flights direct to Europe.
