Economics provide good reason for Brazilian property investment
People thinking about investing in Brazilian property have been told about the country’s good economic situation.
Regina Scharf, writing for Brazzilmag.com, said that factors such as economic growth and a well performing stock market were good reasons to look at investing hard-earned money into the country.
She added that it has been predicted by finance experts that the economy will experience "robust" growth over the next two years, in the range of 4.5 per cent.
"The country’s stock exchange, based in São Paulo, grew almost 80 per cent since the beginning of the year and almost recovered the losses of the former year," she continued.
Ms Scharf commented that with healthy consumption, foreign capital investments and an improving human development index, which takes into account factors such as income, education and expectancy, Brazilian property could be a sound investment.
The country’s hosting of the 2014 football World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games will also see big changes to infrastructure, particularly in Rio de Janeiro.
However, the government has also launched a housing development project which will benefit the whole country.
