Expert: A lot of Brits looking to move abroad
There is likely to be an increase in Britons looking to move overseas, according to an industry expert.
Marc Da-Silva, a freelance property reporter, said that in the same way that a lot of foreigners like to move to the UK, there are going to be a lot of Britons looking to move overseas in the coming years.
The expert stated that the recent recession could play its role in people moving to property abroad, with many having taken early retirement because of the credit crunch.
Highlighting the benefits of moving to Brazilian property, Mr Da-Silva said: "Obviously the quality of life is generally considered to be better overseas and indeed more affordable – food, the cost of living and property prices. It is much easier to get a foot on the property ladder overseas and start afresh."
His words came after a report by NatWest International Personal Banking showed that 89 per cent of expats say they enjoy a better quality of life abroad.
