Expert: It is great to be involved with Brazilian property
There is currently plenty of good feeling and optimism in the Brazilian property market, according to one sales supervisor.
Thiago Davidian, speaking to BBC News, said that it is "great to be working with real estate in Brazil" at the moment.
It comes after his team sold more than 50 units recently at a development in Sao Paulo.
The news source stated that this success in Brazilian property has all come about because of a sharp drop in mortgage rates, which fell to single-digit figures last year.
It added: "The construction industry has also gained, growing 15 per cent during the first half of 2010 when compared with the same period a year earlier, and thus outpacing the nine per cent overall economic growth rate (GDP)."
Recently, the Global Property Guide rated Brazil as one of the top places to invest in real estate in the world, thanks to its fantastic weather and lively culture.
