Flying to Brazil is made easier
Property investors in Brazil may be pleased to hear that flying to the Latin American nation has been made even easier this week.
Alternative Airlines, a low-cost flight booking service, has added Brazilian airline Gol to its booking engine, giving travellers another means of booking their trip.
Gol is the largest low-cost airline in Brazil and it operates domestic flights throughout the country from its main hub in Sao Paulo.
A spokesman for Alternative Airlines commented: "This is a real breakthrough. We can now offer our customers even more choice of airlines.
"Passengers often want to book the cheapest possible fare, regardless of whether in-flight meals are provided."
The Brazilian tourism institute announced this week that expenditure by visitors to the country has totalled the highest ever amount – around £2.5 billion in 2007.
December, in particular, achieved a record monthly high with tourism revenues reaching £469 million, the country’s central bank revealed.
