Friends reunited as legend returns to Brazil
Football legend Roberto Carlos will be looking for property in Brazil after announcing his decision to quit Turkish football side Fenerbahce.
The left-back said "I want to return to Brazil" and claimed that he has signed a two-year contract with Corinthians, where he will be reunited with fellow World Cup winner Ronaldo.
"I’m anxious to get to Corinthians, pull the shirt onto my body and hear the crowd and to make history alongside Ronaldo," he told Radio Record.
His contract with Fenerbahce ends at the end of this month and Carlos, who has had a glittering career with the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid, is expected to be unveiled by the Brazilians on December 20th.
Despite having won 125 caps for his country, Carlos admitted during his time at Madrid that he still loves playing the game as much as when was a child and was kicking a football around at the back of his parent’s Brazilian property.
