Global recession ‘opportunity for Brazil property’
The global economic downturn is a potential opportunity for the Brazilian economy and could help Brazil real estate to grow over the months ahead, it has been claimed.
James Dowey, an economist at Neptune Investment Management, has suggested that emerging economies such as Brazil have been the "main beneficiaries" of the economic boom enjoyed over the past decade.
Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Dowey said that while there remains a question as to how these economies will respond to the global downturn, he insisted they are in a good position to benefit from it and improve their fortunes even further.
"It is an opportunity to reorient their economies towards more sustainable sources of demand," he said.
Mr Dowey concluded: "Brazil’s investment potential is second to none, but it needs more capital."
These comments demonstrate the major potential that could be available for people considering purchasing Brazilian property.
Meanwhile, there are growing signs that the country could be emerging from recession already, reports Bloomberg.
Brazil’s industrial output is believed to have expanded for the fifth month in a row during June, helping the country to potentially pull itself out of recession.
