Growing number of emigrating Brits could pick Brazilian property
Brazilian property could be on the horizon for Britons who are looking to emigrate, according to a new survey.
IntoTheBlue.co.uk found that 34 per cent of the people it questioned want to emigrate by the end of this decade, with South America a favoured destination.
The experience day website said that 61 per cent of respondents who want to emigrate were unhappy with the way the UK was being run by the government.
Around 16 per cent of those planning to move to Brazilian property and other locations abroad blamed UK rates of immigration for their intended departure.
Furthermore, 86 per cent said that they wanted to move to a warmer climate, making Brazilian property a favourite with its stunning beaches and year-round sunshine.
Another 18 per cent said that the cost of living in the UK was too high, compared with Brazil whose economy has rebounded thanks to tactical taxation cuts on certain products.
People emigrating at the end of the decade will also benefit from a number of infrastructure changes which will come about through hosting the Olympics in 2016.
