Jordan wants trade agreement with Brazil
Brazilian real estate investors could be interested to hear distance is no obstacle between the nation’s trade with Jordan, it has been reported.
Haider Murad, president of Jordan’s Chamber of Commerce, is calling on firms from both nations to do their part in ensuring harmonious trade relations, according to the Brazil Arab News Agency.
Mr Murad told the news provider the two countries have "huge" production and exporting potential which must be tapped into.
"It takes effort from the private sector in both countries in order to explore such potentials," he added.
The trade president concluded by saying he would like both countries to sign a trade cooperation agreement.
Meanwhile, the agency reported this week that Brazilian exports to Arab countries generated some $7 billion (£4 billion) during period of January to September this year.
According to figures released by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, this was the largest in the history of bilateral relations.
