New flight link between Argentina and Brazil
A new flight link between Argentina and Brazil has been announced this week.
TAM Airlines will operate the new flight service between Buenos Aires and Salvador in the north-east region of Brazil thrice weekly, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Director of the airline, Angel Rovira, has guaranteed the new route to Brazil’s tourism secretary, Domingos Leonello, after a two-way promotional campaign for tourism between the two countries was undertaken earlier this year.
Historically, Argentina has been a large exporter of tourists to Brazil with 9,200,000 visitors from the country hopping the border to Brazil each year.
According to Brazil’s tourism institute Embratur the main destinations these tourists visited were Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú and Foz do Iguaçu.
The north-east region of Brazil has been tipped recently for property developers looking to make good profits in an emerging market.
Furthermore, this new flight route may provide a boost to the property market in the region, making it more accessible.
