Both a Hollywood star and a former world footballer of the year own exclusive property in Natal, it has emerged.
Antonio Banderas has a home on the Grand Natal Golf resort in the state capital of Rio Grande do Norte.
The swanky neighbourhood is a residential project for tourists and golfers boasting its own helipad on site.
He shares the neighbourhood with World Cup winner Ronaldo whose school of football is nearby.
Meanwhile, those considering buying property in Brazil may be interested to know that the north-eastern city of Natal was tipped as a "top market" for property investment last month.
Deanne DuKhan, portfolio strategist for Experience International, told NuWire Investor: "Our research has pointed to [Natal] as potentially one of the top performing markets for direct property investment in 2008.
"The market [in Natal has been] driven by both domestic and foreign demand, a combination [that] is likely to ensure a constant stream of income from capital inflows," she added.
