Brazil Property News: Brazil holds international tourism event

Brazil is hosting an international tourist conference this week.
The Fair of the Americas (ABAV) will run in Rio de Janeiro until October 27th with over 700 exhibitors present at the event from all around the globe.
Travel agencies, airlines, maritime companies and government representatives will attend ABAV to demonstrate to industry experts and the general public what is new in the world of tourism.
Ali El Kathib from the Palestinian Ministry will visit the event this week and told Brazzil Mag that ever since he began attending the event, the number of Brazilian tourists in Palestine has increased significantly, reflecting the potential that ABAV holds.
The first three days of the event were for professionals only but from October 27th it will be opened to the general public and around 22,000 people are expected to attend the event.
UK tourist organisation VisitBritain made a trip to Sao Paulo this week to participate in a tourist workshop as part of ABAV, in which the two countries educated each other on mutual tourist opportunities.
