Brazil Property News: Brazil is trading at a record level with Arab nations

Brazil's agricultural trade with Arab nations totalled more than $1.2 billion (£604 million) for the first quarter of 2008, ANBA reports.
Up 27 per cent from last year, the rise was greater than the sector's overall foreign sales, according to figures from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The biggest increase was seen in the exporting of beef and chicken meat that accounted for sales of $684.6 million and grain and flours which at $69.8 million showed a growth of almost 800 per cent.
Antonio Sarkis Jr, president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, said: "The meat complex led growth, but other items grew significantly, such as dairy products and fruit- as we had forecasted early this year, these products are performing well.
The director at the Foreign Promotion Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, Eduardo Sampaio Marques, said that the Arabs are very "receptive" to Brazilian products, according to the news provider.
A booming economy could be good news for those considering buying property in Brazil as it may be seen to underline the nation's prosperity.
Meanwhile, last week consultancy firm Economatica revealed that Brazil's businesses posted their biggest profits last year, ANBA reports.
