Brazil Property News: Brazil offers 'safe investment'

3rd October 2008 02:55

Brazil offers to a safe investment for property buyers, it is claimed.

Gilles Acogny, a London-based investor, tells Nubricks.com he believes investors buying property in Brazil are making a good choice.

He states: "I’ve been following the fortunes of the BRICs countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) for the last five years with a view to investing and I think that Brazil is the safest in relation to medium-term investment and the most friendly to foreign investors."

Mr Acogny claims factors such as a strong economy and realistic chances of a 20 per cent capital growth makes Brazilian real estate a strong option for buyers.

The 47-year-old investor owns property within Brazil's Quinta da Lagoa region, the source adds.

Elsewhere, research carried out by Bridging Finance Limited claims an increasing number of Britons are looking to buy property abroad due to poor weather at home and the credit crunch, reports Homesworldwide.co.uk.
