Brazil Property News: Brazil property outlook 'very positive'

The outlook for the Brazilian property market is "very positive" according to leading industry analysts.
A poll of experts by the Latin Business Chronicle shows a general positive attitude to the property investment in Brazil, as the economy stabilises and demand from investors and tourists grows on both sides of the Atlantic.
Morgan Stanley real estate investing Americas co-head Brian Carr said: "We view the outlook for the real estate sector in Brazil very positive as the key ingredients for success are present in the market."
Meanwhile, Patrice Etlin, head of investments in Brazil for Advent International, forecast "strong and solid growth for the next years" given factors such as macroeconomic stability, GDP growth and an increase in real estate credit.
Gary Garrabrant, chief executive of Equity International, also spoke to the Latin Business Chronicle and sung the praises of president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
He said: "We're big supporters of Lula. We believe he has set in motion a series of reforms that are very positive for the country and that should affect real estate industry positively over time."
