Brazil Property News: Brazilian aircraft manufacturer secures deal

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has secured a contract with another Japanese customer.
Suzuyo and Co is the second Japanese firm that Embraer has secured a deal with recently and the firm said it is "very enthusiastic" about the order.
Embraer will deliver two of its 170 E-Jets to the Japanese airline with rights to acquire one additional aircraft.
Mauro Kern, vice president of Embraer, said: "We are very enthusiastic about this second order from Japan, as we make further significant in-roads into the Asia Pacific region.
"It is especially gratifying to have this order come from such a long-standing and broad-based corporate group and we wish them great success in this new enterprise."
The deal, which will form the start-up fleet of Suzuyo's airline when the new Mount Fuji airport opens in 2009, is said to be worth around $87 million (£43 million).
Growth in Brazil's aviation industry is good news for tourism in the country as it allows tourists to access its resorts more easily.
Similarly Brazil's growing tourist industry – said to be increasing at a rate of 7.2 per cent annually – may have a positive knock-on effect on its property market as the need for property rentals in the country will increase.
