Brazil's fruit exports are booming, it has been reported by the Brazil Arab News Agency.
Those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the news which suggests the nation is enjoying a period of economic reslience.
According to the Brazilian Fruit Institute (Ibraf), the country's fruit exports totalled $640,150 million (£373 million) last year.
Mauricio Ferraz, a spokesman for Ibraf, told the news agency Europe is a leading customer for Brazilian fruit and Holland and the UK are the top buyers.
The report states the country's most popular exports are melon, banana, mango, apple, grape, lemon, orange and pineapple.
Mr Ferraz claims the Brazilian Fruit Festival gave customers the opportunity to taste the nation's produce and another initiative offers fruit to tourists in airports and hotels.
"We have held this promotional action in the city of Sao Paulo and in several capitals of the north-east. In some cases, we left a fruit basket at guests' rooms including information about consumption,"
It was reported by the Xinhua news agency that Brazil's inflation rate fell to a one-year low last month.
