Brazil Property News: Brazilian jet orders keep rising

The number of jets ordered from Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer at the Dubai Air Show has increased to 63, according to new reports.
Embraer announced the signing of a contract for a further 24 aircraft in addition to the 39 which have previously been disclosed, bringing the total value of orders placed with the company up to $665.5 million (£325.16 million), reports Brazilian-Arab news agency ANBA.
Companies which have placed orders so far include Invision Projects, from India, and Dana Airlines, a Nigerian airline which should begin operating in the first quarter of 2008.
Saudi Arabian airline NAS, which was established in February, is the latest airline to order from the Brazilian manufacturer striking a deal for another three Embraer 190s and two Embraer 195s, which have 114 and 118 seats respectively.
Growth in the Brazilian aviation industry is good news for the tourist sector, allowing growing numbers of travellers to access the Latin American country.
Tourism in Brazil is said to be growing at 7.2 per cent annually, a rate which exceeds the global average according to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation.
