Brazil Property News: Brazilian minister on trade tour of North Africa

The Brazilian government has embarked on an African business tour to drum up investment and assess relations between itself and the continent.

Foreign minister Celso Amorim will visit Algiers today (June 23rd) before stopping off in Morocco and Tunisia to meet with the governments of its leading trade partners in Africa.

The Brazilian ambassador to Algiers, Sergio Danese told the ANBA: "[Amorim] is going to participate in the second meeting for political consultation [with the Algerian government], and also sign cooperation agreements,"

People looking at property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the nation is forging further links with African countries which may result in an increase in tourism between the countries.

The news agency reported last week that Morocco intends on promoting a strong trade and investment bond between itself and Brazil.

Foreign trade minister, Ivan Ramalho, told the website Royal Air Maroc is looking at establishing a direct flight route to Brazil.
