Embratur - the Latin American nation's tourism division - has increased international flights to the nation and exempted taxes from foreign money transfers in order to generate more income and development.

Jeanine Pires, president of the division, said Embratur aims to promote the natural and cultural diversity of the nation and show the modern lifestyle of Brazilian people.

"We want to draw attention to the possible experiences on offer in our sensational country at any time of year; invite people to seek more information about the different types of travel available in Brazil for pleasure or for business," she added.

It was claimed earlier in the month by PricewaterhouseCoopers the nation's reputation among foreign investors was improving as the nation became increasingly attractive.
