Brazil Property News: Brazilian tourism workshop in Australia

Over 250 travel agents and tourism industry professionals attended a workshop to promote Brazilian tourism in Australia this week.
The Brasil Workshop 2007 was organised by the Consulate General of Brazil and was held at the Novotel on Collins Street in Melbourne on Wednesday November 21st.
One of the attending delegates said: "This night was a very exciting one! I definitely learned about Brazil. What a diverse country."
The event promoted well known as well as less visited destinations in the country, giving agents a chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of what they could offer to a wide range of clients seeking a "fun and exciting holiday".
A good turn out of 18 companies attended the workshop, comprised of three airlines, 14 tour operators and one advisory distributor and together they contributed 11 "door-prizes" including full holiday packages to Brazil.
The Consulate General of Brazil was "very pleased" with the outcome and said that he hopes to repeat the event in 2008.
