Brazil Property News: Brazil's beaches 'highly rated'

17th December 2008 02:46

Two Brazilian beaches have made it on to a list of the world's best ten, it has been reported.

According to ready2invest.co.uk, Copacabana beach has been rated as the fifth best beach in the world in a new list compiled by Conde Nast Traveller magazine.

The other Brazilian beach to make it into the top ten was Ipanema, which charted at number eight.

Conde Nast described Copacabana as the world's greatest "metropolitan beach" and added that 4.5-kilometre stretch is "perfect place to do some serious people watching", according to the report.

It stated that Ipanema is more stylish and chic and attracts residents from Rio's more exclusive neighbourhoods.

Brazilian property investors could be interested to hear the news which suggests Rio is a good location for tourism.

Meanwhile, Brazzil Magazine reported this week that the Brazilian government feels the nation will walk away from the global financial crisis stronger.
