Those considering property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the confidence of the nation's consumers is at its second highest level in history, it is being reported.

Figures compiled in the National Consumer Expectations Index (INEC) released by the National Confederation of Industries (CNI) on Friday (October 10th) suggest confidence has reached 115.6 points, according to the Brazil Arab News Agency.

This shows an increase of 4.1 per cent over the course of the past year and up 5.3 per cent since July.

Flavio Castelo Branco, executive manager for economic policy at the CNI, told the news provider the results are very high.

"Consumers answer to the INEC with their pockets, according to their own situation. They participated in the research at a moment of good employment and growing income," he explained.

Meanwhile, it was reported last week by news agency that Brazil's fruit exports are booming.

Those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the news which suggests the nation is enjoying a period of economic boom.
