Brazil Property News: Brazil's north-east will cash in on World Cup

The World Cup will bring huge real-estate profits to Brazil, according to an industry website.
Easier Property said the announcement that the world's biggest sporting event would be hosted by the country in 2014 would add to "investor confidence".
Brazil's north-east coast has experienced "massive exposure" in the past year and is now considered a "true hotspot for property investors".
The property listings service said that due to "greater organisation", investors buying property in Brazil no longer have to endure the "fear factor" they do in more chaotic emerging markets.
A statement from the website said: "With all of these factors taken into consideration and the certain improvement of infrastructure, I have no hesitation recommending the north-east of Brazil as one of the global hotspots for investment over the next five to ten years."
It is expected that the Brazilian football association will chose Natal's Estrela dos Reis Magos stadium – one of the country's top grounds that holds 65,000 spectators – as a World Cup venue, according to the news provider.
David Beckham announced in January that he was building a football academy in Natal, joining the foreign investors already in the city.
