A big business meeting will be taking place in Brazil this week to bring together Portuguese-speaking tradespeople.
Between March 6th and 7th the 12th International Business Meeting will be held in Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, which over 300 companies – 100 of which will be from outside Brazil – are expected to attend.
Representatives from the food, drinks, handicrafts, footwear and leather accessories, textile, construction, flower, tourism and cultural sectors will all be present at the event.
The Brazilian Service to Support Micro and Small Enterprises has organised the two-day-long event which will also focus on clinching deals in the tourism sector.
In New York this week the Brazil Real Estate Summit 2008 is also taking place, in order to raise Brazil's economic profile internationally.
The event will bring together real estate executives from around the world as well as leading financial experts and business leaders to discuss property investment opportunities in Brazil.
