Automobile manufacturers are maintaining their confidence in Brazil despite the deep global financial crisis, it has been reported.

People looking for property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the news which hints at economic resilience in the Latin American nation.

According to the Brazil Arab News Agency, a number of carmakers share the view that model investments and programmes should be maintained in the country.

José Carlos Pinheiro Neto, vice-president of General Motors Brazil (GMB), is quoted by the news agency as saying: "The Chinese ideogram for the word crisis also represents opportunity."

GMB president Jaime Andila claims that there are two ways to look at the crisis: the glass being half full or half empty.

"Brazil is going to suffer an impact, but it should be small, as the country is greatly prepared to face the challenges and has companies compromised with the country's future and with the future of the auto industry," he explained.

The report states that Ford and Renault share these sentiments.

Meanwhile, Jordan's King Abdullah II claims that emerging nations are shaping the future for the expansion of the world's economy, it was reported by the news provider.
