22nd October 2008 03:51

Emirates Holidays is celebrating the first anniversary of its first flight to Brazil in October 2007.

The airline offers flights between Dubai and Sao Paulo, which could help bring more holidaymakers into the nation.

Increased tourism could be good news for anyone with property in Brazil.

Describing Brazil as a "colourful country", the company asserts that a visit to Sao Paulo, the world's third largest city, is a good choice for holidaymakers, in particular praising the nightlife and entertainment on offer.

It adds that the city offers the "finest museums in South America" and boasts the Avenida Paulista’s skyscrapers which are "a testament to the city’s energy and artistic heritage".

Sao Paulo was recently named a top ten city by the Lonely Planet.

The travel guide included the city in its Best in Travel 2009 as it provides a different and exciting holiday location.

Glasgow, Chicago, Lisbon and Zurich were also in the top ten.
