Brazil Property News: Fashion fair heads to Curitiba

22nd July 2008 05:06

Those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the city of Curitiba is being tipped to become the next important fashion centre, it has been reported.

Regarded as one of the nation's leading textile hubs with an annual output of around 150 million pieces, the city is set to host the second Parana Business Collection, according to the ANBA.

The event - held at the Integrated Centre for Businessmen and Workers of the Industries of the State of Parana - aims to provide visibility to the creativity of the city's designers and to the quality of fashion produced in the state.

According to the organisers, the last similar event held in the city attracted more than 14,000 people, which suggests it could have positive benefits for Brazilian property in the area.

Those looking at property for sale in Brazil might also be interested to hear a pharmaceutical industry fair will be held in Rio de Janeiro next month, bringing thousands of the industry's professionals to the city.
