People investing in Brazil are "backing a winner" according to one property investor.
Sean Mustoe, who says he was "sick" of being told by people at investment conventions that he had "just missed the next big thing", claims that investing in Brazil is where the real money is.
After doing research into the Brazilian economy, its oil revenues, political structure, previous foreign investment, security and "stunning" beaches, he decided to invest in the north-eastern resort of Pipa.
"It is an established holiday resort but still small and relatively exclusive offering many attractions and amenities," he explained.
Sean made contact with a number of agencies but in the end decided to make his purchase through uv10 as Samantha Gore, head of marketing and sales for the Brazil specialists, had the right blend of "honesty and integrity".
He says of Pipa: "I have the best of both worlds there…I am away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to three stunning beaches."
Sam now plans to keep his property and watch the prices, hopefully, rise over the next five years.
Bloomberg News reported last year that in the four quarters which ended September 30th 2007 the Brazilian economy grew 5.2 per cent from 4.9 percent in the same period ended in June – the biggest accumulated annual growth rate since the end of 2004.
