Brazil Property News: Jamaica and Brazil sign first air services agreement

Jamaica and Brazil have signed their first-ever air services agreement, which will take steps to improve access between the two countries.
Making direct flights between the Latin American and Caribbean nations a possibility, the agreement also marks the beginning of better relations between the two countries.
Cezar Amaral, the ambassador of Brazil in Jamaica, signed the agreement with Mike Henry, who is the Minister of Transport in the Caribbean nation.
As well as improving flight links between the two countries government officials also hope that it will promote a cultural exchange and open up Brazil's tourist market further.
Officials could not, however, pinpoint how soon flights would begin operating between the two countries and which airlines would participate in the scheme.
Improved international relations and aviation links in Brazil are good news for its tourist industry, making it easier for holidaymakers to get to the nation.
Furthermore, growth in the tourist industry may also have a knock-on effect on the property investment trade, creating a demand for holiday homes for tourists to rent during their stay.
