The King of Jordan could make a trip to Brazil in the autumn, it has been reported.

King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein may visit the Latin American nation in October, according to the ANBA.

People considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear Brazil's ambassador to the Arab country, Fernando Jose Marroni de Abreu, is focussing on setting up the visit to boost bilateral relations between the two nations.

Jordan's chancellor Salah Bashir will visit Brazil in July to help in the preparations for the proposed trip which will discuss the Israel-Palestine issue and trade related matters between the two countries.

"The king's visit is also an opportunity to demonstrate the potential of Brazil," Mr Abreu told the publication.

Meanwhile, Brazilian foreign minister, Celso Amorim, has been on a North African tour this week visiting countries such as Algeria and Morocco to discuss trade and tourism between the nations.
