Brazil Property News: Morocco back Brazil

Morocco is behind Brazil's quest to have a permanent seat on the United Nation's (UN) Security Council, it has been reported.

The North African nation's chancellor, Taieb Fassi Fihri, told Brazil's foreign minister, Celso Amorim, his country will "strongly support" a permanent seat for Brazil, according to ANBA.

People looking at property for sale in Brazil could be interested to hear the nation is being backed as it pursues the reform which has become an important part of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's administration's foreign policy.

"Morocco regards as legitimate the Brazilian aspiration to be a permanent member of the UN Security Council. This will translate into strong support by Morocco to the Brazilian candidacy when the [SC] reform takes place," Mr Fihri told the news agency.
