Brazil Property News: New Lisbon to Brazil flights

Portuguese airline TAP has announced six new flights from the European country to Brazil.
The new flights, which will make it easier for property owners, tourists and businessmen to access the country from the continent, will begin on February 11th next year.
Operated by an Airbus A330 aircraft, with the capacity for 259 passengers, the new route will depart from Lisbon at 10:00 WET arriving in Belo Horizonte at 17:00 BRST, returning at 19:00 BRST from Brazil and landing in the Portuguese capital at 18:05 WET.
New additions to the airline's services will bring its total flights between Lisbon and Brazil up to 65 per week, flying to eight destinations in the Latin American country, including Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Salvador, Natal, Recife and Fortaleza.
Belo Horizonte which is the third largest city in Brazil, is the capital of the Minas Gerais state and was built on a plan corresponding to that of Washington DC.
In September this year TAP had transported 716,000 passengers between Portugal and Brazil, which is a 16 per cent increase from the same period in 2006.
