A leading property investment news website has tipped Brazil as one of the most "attractive" options for property investors at the moment.
The website highlights the Latin American country not only for its "sun, sea and sand" but also for its "flourishing economy" and strong potential for future growth.
Licensed and certificated attorney of law in Brazil, Jose C Santiago, told the website that the demand for property in Brazil is expected to increase by approximately 900,000 units per year.
He explained that the lowering of interest rates has increased the demand in the housing market as more Brazilians can now afford to buy homes.
In addition to home-grown buyers, Brazil has also seen an increase in the number of foreigners looking to buy a vacation property in the Latin American nation, says Santiago.
At the end of last year NuWireInvestor put Brazil in second place on its list of the Top Five Latin American Real Estate Markets.
Brazil, which came second only to Chile, was praised for its wide variety of investment opportunities with urban development in Sao Paulo and beach resort properties up for grabs in Rio de Janeiro.
