Brazil's state-owned oil firm has announced it reached a new record level of production of oil and gas in September, it has been reported.

Those considering Brazilian property could be interested to hear the news, which hints at economic resilience in the nation.

Petrobras revealed it produced 1,897,563 barrels a day, which beats the previous record by 12,400 barrels and accounts for growth of 7.26 per cent over the course of the past year, according to Mercopress.

The report noted: "Petrobras' total exclusive oil production [in] Brazil and abroad was 2,023,413 barrels [a] day, 6.6 per cent more than a year ago and 0.7 per cent higher than in August.

Meanwhile, it was reported last week by the Brazil Arab News Agency that the Latin American nation's fruit exports are booming.

Those considering buying property in Brazil could be interested to hear the news, which suggests the nation is enjoying a period of economic boom.
