Brazil Property News: Sao Paulo cultural scene 'rivals most major cities'

A commentator has defended Sao Paulo from its critics, saying the city boasts "impressive architecture" and a "vibrant culture and arts scene".
David Fenwick, a partner at Proskauer Rose, writing for The Lawyer, says that the city is unfairly considered to be too crowded and too polluted, arguing that the large number of people are less oppressive when they are smiling and friendly.
He asserts that Sao Paulo is "without doubt the most cosmopolitan city in the country and arguably in South America".
His opinion that the Sao Paulo's culture, nightlife and culinary scenes rival most major cities in the world may come as good news to people considering investing in Property in Brazil.
Mr Fenwick reveals that the city is also ideally located for a weekend escape to nearby beach resorts or rural areas for some relaxation.
Meanwhile, expat advice website Shelter Offshore has recommended people consider Property in Brazil if they are looking to retire abroad, as the country's cheap cost of living allows their pension to go further.
