Brazil Property News: TAP gets over 20,000 bookings on new Portugal flight

TAP announced this week that it has surpassed 20,000 bookings on its new flight route between Brazil and Portugal.
The Brazilian airline began operating the flight between Lisbon and Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais State, on Monday February 11th.
Brazilian property investors may be pleased to hear that the flight has been so popular, as it suggests a growing interest in European travel to the Latin American country.
The flight route is operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays by a A330 aircraft, which has the capacity for 259 passengers.
Each flight takes off from Lisbon at 10:00 local time and arrives in Belo Horizonte at 17:30 local time.
On the return journey, the flight departs at 19:00 local time and arrives in the Portuguese capital at 18:05 local time the following day.
TAP now operates 66 flights a week between Europe and Brazil.
In Brazil, the airline serves eight destinations: Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Salvador, Natal, Recife and Fortaleza.
