Brazil Property News: Travellers urged to book flights for Bahia Carnival

Travellers are being urged to book their flights now for the impending Bahia Carnival.
A one-time capital of Brazil, Salvador, will hold the Bahia Carnival this year, which will overlap with the Festa de Yemanja – another "enormous and highly important" festival.
Bahia Online describes the event as "not the Rio Carnival" – which is famous for its beautiful women high up on floats – and notes that these festivities will be made up of locals and visitors dancing in the streets until "they drop".
The event will take place between Thursday January 31st and Tuesday February 5th and music will be a "major theme" of the carnival.
Musical entertainment will be provided from two distinct camps: Trios Electricos and the Blocos while this year's theme for the event is Capoeira and the symbols are Joao Grande and Decanio.
Sainsbury's Bank reported recently that almost 12 million Brits will book a holiday abroad before the end of this February.
With an increasing number of flight links to Brazil, which is currently in its sunny season, many holidaymakers may be considering the Latin American destination for their travels.
