Property site recommends Brazil for golfers
Amberland.com has recommended Brazil as a prime location for investment in golfing property.
The recommendation follows a report by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators which revealed that golf tourists spend twice as much money on holiday then beach or sightseeing tourists.
Amberland.com, a property hints and tips website, also reports that there are 50 million active golfers worldwide, a third of whom go on holiday each year making this an extremely lucrative market.
The site pinpoints the north-eastern region of Brazil as a particularly good area for investors due to its accessibility from Europe and North America, stunning beaches and "vibrant way of life".
It also highlights Natal’s accreditation by the Institute for Applied Economics Research as the safest of Brazil’s state capitals, as a good reason to construct or buy a golf resort there.
The Brazilian tourist industry has recently formed strong links with South Korea and Japan seen improvements in flight services to and within the country.
Furthermore, London Stock Exchange has reported recently that such advances in the emerging markets have caused property investors to move away from traditional holiday destinations in favour of countries such as Brazil where higher profit margins are on offer.
