Short breaks could highlight benefits of Brazilian property
The chances of people being enticed by Brazilian property could increase as more travellers are taking multiple short adventures, rather than one big annual holiday.
Peter Crane, head of product strategy at Explore, said that a current trend is existing which is seeing holidaymakers take a long weekend to adventurous destinations, which could include Brazil.
He added that even those that are going on one long trip are also booking additional shorter trips each year.
"That's one of the benefits people get; they want to see as much as they can of a destination in the time they've got, so they don't just transfer to a particular hotel and stay there for two weeks," he stated, adding that they will travel around the country, meet the local people as much as possible and pack in plenty of activities.
Furthermore, research conducted by Dan Ariely, a behavioural economist at Duke University, North Carolina, recently said that taking frequent short breaks makes people happier than those who go abroad just once a year, which could highlight the benefits of investing in a second property in Brazil.
